Field Trip...

Hi Everyone!

In the last couple of days I have received some E mails asking if I was all right... I guess I didn't realize I haven't blogged anything in a long time! I have been busy but it is all "good" busy.
For instance, last Friday I chaperoned my son's advanced biology's class field trip...
We all took the Sounder train into Safeco field and walked through downtown to Pikes Market...

Here is some of the class at the fish market at Pikes place. At this fish market they throw fish around and do alot of fun things. In the photo above one of our students is touching a Monk fish... The funny thing about this fish is it's tied to a string that you can't see so when someone touches it, it jumps up at them! Boy, did those girls scream!

We broke off in groups and went all over Pikes market where there is always beautiful flowers and crafts to see.

Then I spotted a Starbucks and across the street my group ran! Above is a photo of my son Tim and I... This was the very first Starbucks ever made.

Here are a few of the great kids in my group...

We met up with the rest of the class and went to Seattle's Aquarium...If you have never been it's worth the trip. There are a lot of shows and even a hands on exhibit.

The octopus was showing off this day~

And so was my son...

We went outside to have lunch sitting out on the pier, it was wonderful weather! After lunch we went back into the Aquarium for more learning then took off for the walk back for the train ride home... It was a perfect day.

How did this picture get in here? :)

Noelle Grace is 5 months old TODAY. She rolled over last week and hasn't stop since. I'm very proud of my daughter, she is a great mommy and is even making homemade baby food for Noelle. Noelle is about the happiest, most content baby I've ever known~♥

Old McDonald Had A Farm....

Being I'm not Old McDonald and I don't have a farm but have a "itch" to have a garden, I had to find some ideas. You see, right behind our backyard is a huge green belt of trees and ferns and it's beautiful but those trees don't let much sun into our backyard... The left of the yard has some sun in the morning and the right of the yard has sun in the afternoon... I definitely had a dilemma... Until I was at BHG online and saw the "Lettuce Wagon!" (not to be confused with "the party wagon") !!!

I'm sure my neighbors are going to love me "even more" when they see me out pulling my wagon to sunnier grounds!

Or I could just do this and hang "lettuce pails" in my kitchen window... Desperate times call for desperate measures...

Wonder what I could grow in a wheelbarrow? Any other ideas out there?
EEEEE~I~EEEE~I~OOOOHHHH!
