And anyone else that is interested in seeing photos from our mountain hike~! Click on photos to enlarge for a much better view~ Photos are not in any real order as you will soon see!
By the way (everyone else)... I'm getting a blog makeover in the next few weeks and I am busy sewing and crafting so get ready for some big changes!!!

I Love this picture of Timmy-This view is what he wanted Tim Sr & I to see-We didn't realize we would have to rock climb to get there~ So beautiful. So worth it.

These are the gluten free eggs I lived on while up there~This is what they looked like before adding the boiling water-Freeze dried!

After adding the water and letting them sit for a bit they really look like scrambled eggs and are QUITE good!

Huckleberries were ripe for the picking and were all around our camp~I had them with my cream of rice hot cereal. YUMMY!

One night for dinner we had fish. Here is my hunka hunka burning love with his catch.

Grouse, beautiful and tasty too! ;)

This is how Timmy cut the firewood...

Until the firewood split the rock in half!!! I'm pretty sure it was supposed to work the other way around son.

This is Tim and our neighbor/his friend Blake. Blake had just got done asking me if his beard was filling in because he wanted to look like Jesus~I laughed and told him it looked more like George Michael. Poor Blakie. :)

We hiked to middle Oval lake one day-Timmy was tired and fell asleep right next to the lake.

This is me half way up the mountain (mile 5) on the first day. We had stopped to rest by the creek that follows the trail all the way up to our camp. You could hear the little waterfalls all the way to the top.

Tim and I on the peak behind our camp.

Timmy snapped this shot of me after we got to the top of a rock climbing adventure.

This shot is worth enlarging! Tim Sr's friend Merv met us up there with his gang of horses. He was camping on the other side of Oval peak from us. I expect to see Dad on these horses next year! (wink wink, okay Dad?)

I was greeted by this deer as I stepped out of my tent. She decided she wanted to have hot cocoa with us that evening. She stayed right in our camp for the longest time.

This bird acted like it was going to land right on me!
I will show you (Dad, Mom & Ron) the rest of the photos when you come visit!
