Window Pane Chandie...

I had this old window pane on one of my walls in my living room.  My mom and I came to the conclusion the other day it was getting a little outdated.

So I asked my husband if he had any plexiglass AND of course he did.  He cut the plexiglass to fit in the sill and used some gold chain to hang it out on our front porch. (Thanks honey~)

Being I'm all about saving money this year, I added some fall foliage, leaves, acorns & pumpkins that I already had. The grapevine pumpkins are new and are only $2.50 at Target in their dollar bin.

Another view...

Up Close View...

And... Here is the view that you see when sitting in the chair looking up.  I thought it would be fun to add some candles that would glow through the glass and maybe even some lights around the leaves-*NEW: Click HERE to see it lit up!

If you noticed I didn't call this a "Fall" Window Pane Chandie-Only because come December it will be decorated for Christmas!

In my previous post-I showed where Martha Stewart had made a grapevine chandelier- I liked it but the grapevine wreaths I had were too small and didn't look proportioned with the table-The window pane was just the right size.

Have fun, the possibilities are endless~
