iPod~iPad~iWant...

*****
There are NOT alot of material things that I want. I will admit however that I am an electronic gadget junkie!
For YEARS I wanted an iPod.  We have young adult children and grandchildren so there are always more important things to buy~ So when my husband gave me a little box last Christmas and it had an iPod in it I was shocked & giddy! (Yes, most girls like jewelry, I'll take electronics over jewelry any day!)  I use my iPod for everything.  It has all my addresses/phone numbers stored for easy access-I added many of the time zones where you all live so I know when and when not to call you.  I have the local traffic and pass reports on it. It has a place to type all my lists and notes and a photo center that I put pictures of my family on to show anybody that asks (or doesn't.)
In fact I just added a Kindle feature so I can read online books that I have purchased-It lights up for easy reading and is great for when I can't sleep and don't want to wake my husband with a lit room.
I also have some of my favorite website apps on there-In fact I was checking out a few the other day when I was in the waiting room of the doctors office. I can write E mails and leave comments too. I like that it has  password protection so all my private info is kept safe.
Oh yeah, sometimes I even listen to music on my iPod, though not very often! It's funny this is the main reason these little gadgets were made-To actually listen to music of all things.  So as you can see I loooooove my iPod dot dot dot~

But now Apple has come out with an even greater temptation! Seriously, why do they do this to me?

The iPad- It's the iPod that's just bigger! Pictures would be easier to see, books would have more words on a page, so much easier to type on YET not as big to lug around as a laptop.

Now I'm dreaming about having this in a few years. The good thing about having to wait is by the time I get one, the bugs are all worked out and the price is oh so much cheaper!

Do you or anyone you know own a iPad?  Any thoughts?

What's on your wish list?

A Day At The Beach~

*******
Hi Everyone, First off I want to thank you for your sweet prayers-I am so thankful for all of you.

We are still under the weather, though better then last week- It's been a long time since I have been this sick.
My dad has a doctor's appointment tomorrow that I will be going to. Hopefully we can get to the bottom of his illness...When did doctors stop caring about our elderly? I just want to get some answers and to keep him out of the hospital.

I've been watching our granddaughter Noelle every day for the last few months.  Her mommy is taking some classes up at the college in the mornings and working the afternoons-I'm very proud of how hard she is working for her and Noelle.

I hope to get to posting more, in the meantime here are some pictures of our beach trip a few weekends ago with Noelle Grace~♥

First stop is always Starbucks~Noelle gets her milk, grandma gets her coffee-It's a win-win!

I adore this picture ~She LOVED the beach!

Grandpa took her out to see the waves-She wants down to play in them but as you can see, grandpa has a firm hold on his precious cargo.

The face of pure contentment~♥

The bigger the wave the happier she was!

Picking up rocks and seashells.

Building and destroying sandcastles.

She ran like this on the beach most the day!

Getting a little help from Grandpa ~Cleaning the sand off her hands.

The quiet ride home~♥ (Purse in hand-of course)

A Perfect Day!

I'm Still Here...

Hi Friends,
Well, it's been a rough two and a half weeks... Pretty much everybody in my family has been sick.  I am still in bed with an ugly virus.  We've had everything from coming close to hospital visits to food poisoning! The only person who hasn't been sick is our granddaughter Noelle...
SO NOELLE HAS BEEN TAKING CARE OF US...

She has been doing all the cooking...

She has been taking care of the dogs for us...

She does all the driving around town to pick up things we need~
By the way, Grandpa taught her to drive not me...

AND...She has been going to all our high society parties that we can't make...  She is pictured here with her mommy they both love purses.

Noelle did get a break though...

We did get a chance to go to the beach a couple of weekends ago for the day...I will share those pictures soon. (pictured is me, Noelle and my husband Tim)

I hope everyone is doing well, I miss you all and hope to get around to your blogs soon!
